It is estimated that, through all of our programs, we are serving at least 40,000 different people annually. Nearly 40% of them are children and almost 10% are seniors. Your food donations go a long way in feeding hungry individuals and families in Northeast Iowa.

Liability Protection
Under the Good Samaritan Act, businesses are protected from liability when donating in good faith to a nonprofit organization.
Tax Benefit
Donations are fully tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
We Handle Your Donations Safely
Employees who handle food donations are Serv-Safe Certified. Our trucks are refrigerated to ensure temperature control from pick-up to delivery.
Tracking
We have an extensive tracking system and are aware of each distribution we make. Come visit our 25,000-square-foot warehouse.
Recall Capabilities
The Northeast Iowa Food Bank makes sure that each and every product that leaves our warehouse or the Cedar Valley Food Pantry is able to be recalled if necessary.
Free Pick-Ups
We will guarantee items donated will be picked up from your business within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
Local PR
When donating to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, you are helping hungry families and individuals in Northeast Iowa! We will try our best to recognize your efforts whether it be on our Web site, in our quarterly newsletter, through our thank you receipts, and by word of mouth!

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank cannot accept the following items:
Homemade or home canned products
Boxed food items with inner seals torn, punctured, or signs of infestation or spoilage
Prepared foods
Canned foods that are severely dented, rusted, bulged, or show signs of leakage
