Outnumber Hunger

For the third year, we're teaming up with General Mills, Big Machine label Group (including dynamic country music duo Florida Georgia Line) and Feeding America to Outnumber Hunger.  By redeeming a special code from a General Mills participating product and including a local zip code, Northeast Iowan's can provide meals in our community for those who might otherwise go without.  For every code entered before January 31, 2015, General Mills will donate 55.5 cents and up to $1,200,000 dollars! Visit www.OutnumberHunger.com for more details!

Student Food Drive 2014

The 2014 Student Food Drive came to a close with an increase of almost 1,700 pounds over last year. 34,346 pounds of food were collected through the annual event after six weeks of contests and collections for food donations.

Students from seven local schools competed in an effort to collect or purchase the most food for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Throughout the final day of the Drive, students delivered food to the Food Bank to be weighed individually by school.  The winning schools were recognized for their efforts.
