Cedar Valley Food Pantry

Making a difference, one meal at a time.

The Cedar Valley Food Pantry provides food to hungry individuals and families in Black Hawk County. The Food Pantry provides crisis and supplemental food assistance to families and individuals. Food boxes consist of fruits, vegetables, protein items (such as peanut butter), pasta, soup, cereal, snack items, fresh produce, and other perishable items. We collaborate with other basic need providers and referral sources in the community.

The Cedar Valley Food Pantry enables families to stretch their money further and use the savings to provide other necessities that would otherwise not be available. On average over 1,200 households are provided with supplemental and emergency food assistance each month. Last fiscal year, the Cedar Valley Food Pantry provided almost 34,000 individuals with food.
