Have you ever wondered where nonprofit organizations, who supply people with food, get their food supply from? Majority of these organizations belong to an area food bank. The food bank is able to bring in food and a reduced cost or free and pass those savings on to our agencies. Most times, nonprofit organizations do not have the storage capacity to bring in large quantities of food. This is where the Food Bank steps up and provides the warehousing for these organizations.
