NEW Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Resource Page Added

With recent development surrounding the growing Coronavirus concern, we have created a resource hub for the public, our clients, parters, and donors who want to learn more about how we are responding, and how our operations will continue during this unprecedented time.

Volunteerism Amidst COVID-19
A Redesigned Experience
Hygienic. Distanced. Impactful..

We are working within the recommended guidelines set forth by the Governor and local health officials, by implementing a "hybrid social-distancing" model: multiple groups of 10, low-risk, healthy, motivated, and passionate individuals, maintaining 3-6 foot distance at all times, following strict hand-washing and sanitation practices. And the best part? We still have a great time doing it!

Donate to our Emergency COVID-19 Preparedness Fund

Perhaps now more than ever, is when donations and other means of support can make the most impact. With donations, up to $10,000, being matched throughout April, the Northeast Iowa Food Bank will count on this support as we prepare strategies for numerous scenarios that may develop over the following months.

Calling All Facebook Fundraisers
Leverage your social network to help us put our Preparedness Plan into action.

Call your friends and family to action and help us scale social good by starting a Facebook Fundraiser to collect donations online. Start with a small goal of as little as $50 -$100 and every dollar you donate will help us provide up to 4 meals to those dealing with situational hunger due to the impact of the Cononavirus, as well as to help us continue serving children, seniors, and families in northeast Iowa already experiencing hunger.
